Moldova delivers new consignment with humanitarian assistance to Ukraine

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova today delivered a new consignment of humanitarian assistance worth 16.8 million lei (840,000 euros) to Ukraine.
Thus, nine trucks with a load of more than 122 tons were escorted by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) to the neighbour country. The batch includes stocks provided on behalf of the Interior Ministry (MAI) and Health Ministry. They are to arrive in the Khmelnytskyi region of Ukraine. The assistance is made of medicines, tents, generators, as well as food products needed for people at risk from the neighbour country.
The material assets are provided to Ukraine as international assistance for free.
Moldova has earlier provided four consignments of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. The last one went to the Mykolaiv region in October 2022. It comprised 17 trucks with assets worth about 21 million lei.
