ANTA warned about suspension of traffic at Polish-Belarusian border point Kukuryki - Kozłowiczy

Chisinau, February 21 /MOLDPRES/- The National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) announced today the suspension of traffic at the Polish-Belarusian border crossing point Kukuryki (PL) – Kozłowiczy (BY), starting on February 21 at 19:00 (CET), for sea vehicles tonnage involved in the international transport of goods.
Those restrictions do not apply to vehicles registered in the Republic of Poland, the member states of the European Union and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) - parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and the Swiss Confederation. Therefore, the Agency warns transport operators that vehicles registered in the Republic of Moldova are not exempt from the mentioned restrictions.
That decision remains in effect until further notice.
On February 10, there was also the suspension of traffic at the Polish-Belarusian border crossing point Bobrowniki (PL) - Grodno (BY), following a decision by the Ministry of the Interior of Poland, taken "in the important interest of state security".
