Unemployed people can benefit from subsidies to start business

Chisinau, February 22 /MOLDPRES/- People without a job can apply for a business start-up grant.

According to the National Employment Agency (ANOFM), persons who have reached the age of 18, registered as unemployed at one of the territorial subdivisions for employment (STOFM), who wish to initiate a entrepreneurial activity are eligible to it.

The subsidy aims to compensate for the costs of registering the enterprise, the procurement of technological equipment, machines, machinery and work installations, measuring, control and regulation devices and installations, computing techniques, raw materials, furniture for equipping the designed spaces. The subsidy is granted for the establishment of a new enterprise and the creation of at least one job for the unemployed beneficiary of the subsidy.

Subsidization is achieved by compensating 80% of the estimated expenses of the unemployed, but not more than 20 average monthly wages per economy for the previous year.

To apply for the subsidy program for starting a business, the unemployed must submit to STOFM: the application for financing, the business plan and the application form.
