Moldovan, American officials approach European integration, bilateral cooperation

Chisinau, February 24 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean held a dialogue with United States Ambassador to Chisinau Kent D. Logsdon. The officials approached the current situation in the country and in the region, and expressed interest in boosting Moldovan-American cooperation on a wide spectrum of fields, such as energy, security, infrastructure and economy, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

Recean listed the government's priorities, as well as the sustained efforts of the authorities to maintain peace and security in the country. He also spoke about the deepening of the Strategic Dialogue with the United States of America.

US Ambassador to Chisinau Kent D. Logsdon welcomed the inauguration of the Government led by Prime Minister Dorin Recean and appreciated the constant contribution of the American people to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova in promoting democracy, well-being and the European integration of the country.
