Moldovan PM to pay first visit abroad to Romania

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean in Bucharest on 1 March will have meetings at the Cotroceni Palace with Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis, at the Victoria Palace with his Romanian counterpart Nicolae Ciuca, as well as at the Palace of Parliament – bilateral meetings with acting President of the Senate Alina Gorghiu and President of the Chamber of Deputies Marcel Ciolacu, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The officials will discuss subjects on the bilateral agenda concerning the deepening of the bilateral relation, with emphasis on the economic recovery and development of the cooperation in the energy sector, as well as development of infrastructure projects.
Starting from 12:15, Prime Ministers Dorin Recean and Nicolae Ciuca will give press statements, due to be broadcast live on the government’s webpage.
The PM’s agenda will also include a meeting with Custodian of the Romanian Crown Margareta and Prince Radu of Romania, as well as discussions with the members of the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the visit to Bucharest, the prime minister will be accompanied by Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Lilia Dabija, Defence Minister Anatolie Nosatii and Government’s Secretary General Artur Mija.
At the same time, the Moldovan delegation will participate in a festive event of Moldova’s Embassy in Bucharest, organized on the occasion of the Martisor Day.
