Moldovan premier receives Ambassador of United Kingdom

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - The need to strengthen the Moldovan-British relation in the spirit of the bilateral strategic partnership has been discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Moldova Steven Fisher, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

PM Dorin Recean referred to the principal priorities of the new cabinet. The prime minister highlighted the ensuring of discipline and order in the state’s institutions, economic development for the benefit of the citizens, ensuring peace and stability in Moldova.

The officials touched upon the recent developments in the regional security sector and the impact of Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine. Also, the British ambassador reiterated the support of the London authorities for the Moldovan government’s goals and priorities.
