Gala of B. P. Hasdeu Prizes for debut in literature nominated winners in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - The B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library from Chisinau today organized the Gala of B.P. Hasdeu Prizes for debut in literature, the fourth edition. The event is dedicated to the illustrious writer, scientist and encyclopaedist, spiritual protector of the municipal library, Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu, who was born on 26 February 1838.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the library’s director, Mariana Harjevschi, said this contest consisted in the critical assessment of the recently edited works by a jury of well-known writers, who cooperate with the B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library and have a rich editorial and literary work.

The first issue of the Gala of B.P. Hasdeu Prizes for debut in literature took place in 2020.
