Moldovan foreign affairs ministry has no information on Moldovans hit by railway accident in Greece

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) today informed that it had no information on Moldovan citizens who would have been hit by the railway accident which occurred in the wake of a head-on collision between a freight train and a passenger one nearby the Larissa city, Greece.
According to preliminary information got by Moldova’s Embassy in Athens, in the wake of the impact, 36 people died and 66 ones were injured. Presently, decision-makers from the Moldovan Embassy keep in touch with the Greek authorities, in order to provide assistance, depending on requests.
