Moldovan president congratulates well-known composer of Moldova on birthday

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today conveyed a message, in which she speaks about the Martisor (trinket worn in honour of 1 March) as a symbol of revival and peace, the presidential press service has reported.
„The first day of spring bring us the Martisor - a sign of the nature’s revival, through which we celebrate the spring, the hope of a new beginning, the life. On this difficult period, marked by the bloody war in Ukraine, Martisor becomes a true symbol of Peace and of care for the close people,’’ the head of state said.
At the same time, the Moldovan president wished good health to composer Eugen Doga, who celebrates his birthday today.
„In Moldova, the spring starts with a symphony of the soul – the birthday of Master Eugen Doga is today and I wish him, on this occasion, good health and energy, in order to continue his creative mission. We are lucky to be contemporaries with this genius of the music, whose work is a true messenger of love and peace. Happy Birthday, Master!’’, Maia Sandu added.
