Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - A group of children and teachers from the Ceadar-Lunga town, Gagauz autonomy, has visited the Moldovan presidential institution on the first day of spring. The visitors were received by President Maia Sandu and the Presidency’s employees, the presidential press service has reported.
„On the first day of March, we were happy to receive on visit at the Presidency children from the Culture Centre of Ceadar-Lunga, along with their teachers, who sang us in the Romanian and Gagauz languages about peace and friendship,’’ Maia Sandu said.
At the same time, the head of state appreciated the children’s talent, who knitted Martisors, in order to give them to the hosts of the Presidency.
„Their enthusiasm and generosity, as well as the one of the teachers in this beginning of spring give us hope that, through kindness, friendship and care for each other, we will manage to overcome together this complicated period, through which we have to go now,’’ President Maia Sandu stressed.
