Moldovan State Fiscal Service collects about nine billion lei in first two months of 2023

Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) collected 8.9 billion lei (445 million euros) to the national public budget in the first two months of this year. This shows an increase by 1.4 million lei or up by 18.6 per cent more against the same period of the year before.
Thus, 3.7 billion lei was collected to the state budget in January and February, which is by 602.9 million lei more against the same period of the 2022 year or increasing by 19.4 per cent.
Revenues worth about 900 million lei were collected in local budgets, up by 20 per cent against the same period of the previous year.
Also, on the aforementioned period, 3.2 billion lei was collected in the state social insurances budget, which is by about 465.6 million lei more or up by 17.2 per cent against the first two months of the last year.
At the same time, one billion lei was accumulated in the mandatory health insurances accounts. In this regard, the collections grew by 173.6 million lei or by 19 per cent against January and February of 2022.
