40 legislative initiatives adopted by parliament in February

Chisinau, March 6. /MOLDPRES/- During February, 40 legislative initiatives were voted in the plenary session of the Parliament. In the same period, 32 projects entered the legislative procedure.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, 30 acts were voted in the second reading - 20 laws and ten decisions. Also, in the first reading, ten legislative initiatives were adopted.

Also, the standing committees convened in 31 meetings. Thus, the members of the committee on rules and immunities convened in four meetings and approved ten reports and joint reports. At the meetings of the Economy, Budget and Finance Committee, eight reports, one co-report and five notes were voted. In the same period, the members of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission convened in three meetings, approving four reports, five co-reports and a note.

The 2023 spring session of the 11th Legislature Parliament began on February 1. During the month, the deputies convened in two plenary meetings.
