Embassy of the Netherlands to be inaugurated in Moldova in next May

Chisinau, 6 March /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu today had a farewell meeting with Bucharest-based Ambassador of the Netherlands to Moldova Roelof van Ees, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The speaker thanked the Dutch diplomat for the support provided to Moldova during time as regards the strengthening of the democracy and good governance, as well as for the assistance provided in the last years.

„In next May, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Chisinau is to be inaugurated. This decision by the Hague authorities will enhance our bilateral contacts, especially on the commerce dimension and will strengthen the sectoral partnerships on our European integration way,’’ Igor Grosu said.

The parliament speaker wished the diplomat success, voicing confidence that the relation between the two countries would be consolidated for Moldova’s development and modernization.
