Two other projects included in European Village Program completed

Chisinau, March 7. /MOLDPRES/- Two other projects included in the European Village Program have been completed. As a result, two localities in Soroca district have modernized infrastructure.

Thus, the public lighting system was renovated in Iarova, Soroca. The network extends over a distance of about 17 km. Beneficiaries of the project, which cost over one million lei, are almost 800 inhabitants of the commune.

According to the National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), another project was completed in Rudi, Soroca, where the General Urban Plan was set up. The document provides for the development of the locality's territory and offers the possibility for the villagers to later benefit from the modernization of public services. The cost for developing the plan is over 100 thousand lei, money allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development.

Soroca district benefits from 18 local development projects through the European Village government program. Their total value is 62.2 million lei.

The European Village program includes 496 projects. 83 of them have already been completed.
