Chisinau, March 7. /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the Law on intercommunity development associations were published in today's issue of the Official Journal of Moldova.
Thus, local public administration authorities will be able to create inter-community development associations in order to jointly realize some development projects of local or regional interest.
The law sees the establishment, activity, operation, reorganization and liquidation of intercommunity development associations. The associations will have an apolitical, non-profit character, they will be able to be created from two or more administrative-territorial units of the first and second level, to jointly provide public services for the community. The governing bodies of the association will be the general assembly, the association council, the censors committee and the director.
This law enters into force at the expiration of three months from the date of publication in the Official Journal, and the Government within three months from the date of entry into force of this law, will bring its normative acts in accordance with it.
