Moldovan parliament speaker says women associate with peace for him

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu participated in a festivity dedicated to the International Women’s Day, held in the Buteni village, central Hancesti district, on 7 March, on the eve of this holiday. At the event, children and pupils from this settlement displayed on stage an artistic programme dedicated to men, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

On this occasion, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu came up with a congratulatory message for women. ‘’You are important. When I say this, I think about my mother and wife, who work in the education sector. Please, educate, together, children, convey to them our customs and traditions, which define us as nation.’’

Also, the parliament speaker wished all women peace. ‘’For me, women are associated with peace. You understand best of all how important is the peace and calm in your homes, how important is that all children are educated in these conditions.’’
