Moldovan PM approached government's priorities with International Monetary Fund delegation

Chisinau, March 10. /MOLDPRES/- Relaunching the economy, improving the administration of public investments and regional situation were some of the topics discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Dorin Recean and members of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation, led by Director of the European Department Alfred Kammer, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Recean referred to the government's priority actions for the revival of the economy affected by the consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine and overcoming the energy crisis, which led to the increase in the inflation rate. The short-term measures aim at training civil servants, in order to improve the budget planning and execution process and public procurement procedure.
The official reiterated the importance of strengthening the rule of law and continuing reforms in justice, so as to create the necessary conditions for business development, increasing the investment attractiveness of our country and strengthening energy security.
Alfred Kammer is visiting Chisinau on March 8-10.
