Sale of service uniforms, military insignia prohibited

Chisinau, March 16. /MOLDPRES/- Sale of service uniforms and insignia of civil servants with special status and of the military was prohibited. The decision was taken by the members of the Commission for Emergency Situaitons (CSE).

According to the CSE decision, exceptions will be cases in which procurements are initiated under the Law on Public Procurements, or at the request of civil servants.

The CSE also prohibited the use of bulletproof vests, covers, belts and multifunctional tactical vests, body cameras and portable radio stations by private people and legal entities who have no such rights by law.

At the same time, CSE members also prohibited the use of corporate symbols of legal entities during meetings, public demonstrations, rallies or other public events. The exception will be non-working public holidays.

The provisions of the CSE enter into force from the moment of issuance and are binding and enforceable for the heads of central and local public administration authorities, economic agents and public institutions.
