Diesel price drops below 22 lei per liter

Chisinau, March 17. /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) announces that there is currently a stabilization of fuel prices and their return to the level recorded in early March last year, after a period in which the regional oil market was strongly affected by the consequences of the war from Ukraine.

Thus, the diesel price, the fuel that represents about 3/4 of the total petroleum products consumed in the Republic of Moldova, drops for the first time in the last 12 months below 22 lei per liter, a level equivalent to the one at the beginning of March 2022.

For the next three days, ANRE has set a maximum price for COR 95 petrol of 24.76 lei, down by 0.1 lei. At the same time, diesel will be sold at a maximum of 21.92 lei per liter, lower by 0.22 lei.
