Council of Europe Office head ends mission to Chisinau

Chisinau, March 28 /MOLDPRES/- On Monday, President Maia Sandu spoke with William Massolin, who is ending his mission as Head of the Council of Europe Office in Moldova.
According to the presidential press service, the president thanked Massolin and his team for their constant support to the achievement of democratic reforms in our country, in the justice, mass media and human rights.
The government will continue efforts to reform the judiciary and regain people's trust in this sector. A functional and independent judiciary is a precondition for the development of the economy and the consolidation of our state, and an important condition in our European path, Maia Sandu said.
