Moldovan State Fiscal Service collects 14.7 billion lei since early 2023

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - The collections to the national public budget, managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) since the beginning of this year, amounted to 14.7 billion lei. The collections grew by 2.2 billion lei or 17.8 per cent against the same period of the year before.
Thus, about seven billion lei (350 million euros) was collected in the state budget in 2023, up by 929 million lei against the same period of 2022. As much as 1.4 billion lei was accumulated in the local budgets, which is by 287 million lei more against the same period of the previous year or by 25.7 per cent.
Also, 4.7 billion lei was collected in the state social insurances budget since 1 January 2023 till present. This sum is by about 19 per cent higher against the same time interval of the 2022 year.
The revenues in the mandatory health insurances accounts increased by 19 per cent as well. They amounted to 1.6 billion lei, which is by 255 million lei more against January-March 2022.
