Chisinau, March 29 /MOLDPRES/- The leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) had this morning an online meeting with heads of the District Agricultural Directorates. The meeting's agenda included the situation in the territory regarding the spring works and the existing stocks of cereals, fruits and grapes.
Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea informed about the measures taken by the ministerial team to support the sector and the creation of policies aimed at favoring investments in agriculture. He approached the situation in the country regarding the sowing and the condition of the autumn crops, the fruit and viticulture works, the preservation of fruits and grapes.
Vladimir Bolea warned about the obligation to register vineyards. "Failure to register in the country's Wine Registry (RVV) could attract administrative sanctions and prevent the sale of grapes for wine production, as well as access to obtaining certain types of subsidies. We urge grape producers to conclude contracts with processors in advance, in order to avoid possible problems with the marketing of production at the peak of the season," he said.
