Moldova, Israel to consolidate bilateral dialogue

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a meeting with Non-resident Ambassador of the State of Israel to Moldova Joël Lion, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

„We agreed on consolidating the political dialogue, extend the commerce and cooperation in the tourism sector and coordinate the efforts in fighting against corruption.

We also discussed the 120th anniversary of the Pogrom which had taken place in Chisinau and I reiterated the government’s commitment to honour the memory of the victims and promote and protect the Jewish legacy in Moldova,’’ Minister Nicu Popescu said.
