Moldovan parliament appoints new head of National Commission of Financial Market

Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/ - The former finance minister, Dumitru Budianschi, today was appointed as head of the National Commission of Financial Market (CNPF), under parliament decision.
The position of CNPF head remained vacant, after Cornelia Cozlovschi had submitted an application on resignation from this office, for personal reasons.
Dumitru Budianschi graduated from the Moldovan State University and the Academy of Economic Studies from Moldova; he is master in economic sciences, public money and taxation policy. Budianschi had been MP before he was appointed finance minister in August 2021.
Under the legislation, the CNPF administrative board is a collegial body led by three members: a head and two deputy heads. They are nominated by the parliament for a five-year mandate, at a proposal by the parliament speaker.
