More winemakers choose to register in Wine Registry, according to Ministry of Agriculture

Chisinau, April 3 /MOLDPRES/- A good news is that more and more winemakers from the Republic of Moldova choose to register in the Wine Registry, according to the data presented late last week, at the National Conference of the Wine Sector - Wine Year 2022.
"In the last three years, about 20 thousand new economic agents have registered, the total number reaching 59 thousand. Grape producers were warned to register their vineyards in the Wine Registry. This is a mandatory condition to be able to sell the grapes they grow in the autumn", the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry says.
Currently, 89,900 vineyards and 343 wineries are registered in the Wine Registry.
