Official delegation from Poland appreciated AIPA's activity

Chisinau, April 5 /MOLDPRES/- The members of an official delegation from Poland were impressed by the technological level of the Agency for Interventions and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA) and came up with proposals and ideas for collaboration, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) has reported.

The opportunities for a possible collaboration were discussed at a yesterday's meeting between MAIA representatives and the Polish delegation, which will participate in the bilateral economic forum Republic of Poland - Republic of Moldova, organized today in Chisinau.

The parties examined the state's policies in the livestock sector, as well as in the fields of intervention in agriculture. "The business environment in Poland represents the animal husbandry sector, however, increased attention has been paid specifically to this sector", according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

In recent years, Moldovan-Polish relations, in the agricultural and rural development segment, are continuously on the rise, summarizes the quoted source.
