Chisinau, April 5 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) has warned about the entry into force on April 4, 2023 of the Regulation establishing the rules for sanitary and veterinary certification of goods subject to state sanitary and veterinary control.
The most important provision of this regulation is that the owners of non-professional holdings will be able to legally sell the surplus of products of animal origin, obtained from their own animals, under much more flexible conditions, having only the obligation to have an animal health card on them, according to the source quotes.
This health card will be issued free of charge by ANSA.
The sale of these products will be allowed either directly from the household or in public places established for this purpose (agricultural markets, fairs, exhibitions, fairs).
