Moldovan PM visits slaughter house from central district

Chisinau, 5 April /MOLDPRES/ - A visit by Prime Minister Dorin Recean to the central Criuleni district started in the Hrusova village, where the most modern slaughter house of porcines from Moldova is placed, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The business was launched in 2021, with an investment of 9.5 million euros. Before opening the campaign, the owners visited over 40 similar institutions from Europe, in order to take over the best practices.
The slaughter house is endowed with a last-generation technological line, which ensures high quality standards. At the same time, the company has an advanced generator; the water used is processed at the water-purifying station on the territory and the animal waste is recycled, turned into biofuel and used in the technological process. Presently, the slaughter house provides services for the biggest producers of meat, salami and sausages from Moldova and provides over 40 jobs in the community.
PM Dorin Recean appreciated the enterprise’s contribution to the economic development and increase of the incomes to the local budget. He emphasized the authorities’ commitment to come up with new instruments of supporting the private sector, which ensures Moldova’s social and economic development. ‘’We will continue backing the companies which put emphasis on the quality, which create jobs and contribute to the improvement of the people’s well-being.’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
In discussions, the company’s owners tackled a string of subjects with direct impact on the work of the slaughter house. The business people referred to the need to boost measures of combating and preventing the spread of the African swine fever virus. At the same time, they stressed the importance of digitalizing the veterinary certificate and removing the bureaucratic obstacles.
