Prime Minister discussed with Criuleni mayors

Chisinau, April 6 /MOLDPRES/- The importance of maintaining an active dialogue between the government and the local public administration to identify concrete solutions to the problems of citizens in the country was approached on Wednesday at a meeting between Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Criuleni representatives, the government's communication and protocol department has reported .
The official spoke about the cabinet's priorities, and noted that the authorities remain oriented towards the development of communities and improving the quality of people's lives. European Village program was launched, through which infrastructure projects are supported: the construction and modernization of water supply and sewage systems, renovation of kindergartens, schools, as well as development of local businesses.
"To put forward sustainable projects to fully use the financial assistance for the localities of the Republic of Moldova and to build the future of our children according to the European model. We must mobilize and use the opportunities offered by the road fund and the European Village program to improve the lives of citizens," said Recean.
The local authorities representatives addressed several problems, including the insufficient supply of water and sewage, the outdated public transport, the deterioration of the access road in the localities. At the same time, the mayors spoke about the need to attract investments, and creation of an industrial park in the region.
Dorin Recean met with the representatives of the decentralized services in Criuleni. At the meeting, the lack of phytosanitary inspectors was discussed, a fact that complicates the process of issuing certificates to economic agents that grow and export fruits and vegetables. At the same time, the importance of ensuring security and public order during the Easter Holidays was mentioned.
"Many businesses complain they don't have employees, and citizens tell me about the lack of jobs. We analyzed how the office works, what are the problems it encounters. We discovered several things that will help us increase the level of employment in the labor field", he said.
