90 blocks in Moldovan capital requested reconnection of heating

Chisinau, April 6 /MOLDPRES/- With the cooling of the weather, 90 residential blocks in the capital and nine educational institutions requested the reconnection of the heating.

According to Termoelectrica, out of the total number of 2675 housing blocks served by the enterprise, 636 opted for the complete cessation of the heating and most of the others adjusted the energy consumption according to the air temperature.

Consumers who wish to benefit from the thermal energy service can request reconnection through the housing fund manager. In conditions where the outside air temperatures drop during the night hours, Termoelectrica said it can supply thermal energy in a sustainable and responsible manner to all consumers.

The heating season in the capital ended on March 27.

According to meteorologists, the yellow frost code is expected by 8 April. Thus, frosts of -1..-3°C are expected during the night and morning hours isolated in the northern half of the country.
