Moldovan president has meeting with European Union's Ambassador

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met Head of the EU Delegation in Moldova, Ambassador Jānis Mažeiks. The two officials discussed the European integration agenda, the presidential press service has reported.

Maia Sandu appreciated the consistent support provided by EU to the effort of the country’s transformation. The head of state noted that the authorities were further relying on the support of the European partners in the development of the economy, reforming the justice and strengthening the state’s institutions.

The Moldovan president also appreciated the financial assistance provided by EU to help Moldova easier overcome the current crises.
