Moldovan deputy PM has meeting with deputy foreign affairs minister of Azerbaijan

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today had a meeting with Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Azerbaijan Xalaf Xalafov, accompanied by Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Moldova Gudsi Osmanov, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The participants in the meeting discussed the current dynamic of the Chisinau-Tiraspol interaction. The sides stressed the importance of the peaceful and sustainable settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, with the unconditional observance of Moldova’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Deputy PM Oleg Serebrian stressed that the 5+2 format of negotiations would remain frozen on the period of the military hostilities in Ukraine and Chisinau will continue interacting with all partners involved in the Transnistrian settlement.
At the same time, Serebrian emphasized the efforts made by the national institutions and foreign partners for the management of all problems and vulnerabilities which come from the complexity of the domestic and regional situation.
Oleg Serebrian thanked the guests for the increased interest in the Transnistria-related problems and the openness for strengthening the Moldova-Azerbaijan interaction.
