Moldovan National Army's peacekeepers train at shooting ranges

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - The servicemen of the Blue Helmets Peacekeeping Battalion 22 hold training activities at National Army’s shooting ranges.

According to the Defence Ministry, the peacekeepers will have both theoretical and practical sessions, based on scenarios of international theatre of operations.

The main subjects studied will regard the tactics, techniques and procedures used by peacekeepers in peacekeeping operations, including during patrols and guard of important objects.

Also, at trainings, the military will use Piranha-3 H carriers, provided to the unit.

In the context, the ministry informs that the military hardware is to move from the unit to training centres.

According to the quoted source, the trainings are held in line with the National Army’s training plan for this year.
