Moldovan president says efforts taken to improve medical services

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu on 4 April visited the Balti-based Clinical hospital, where she participated in an event on the delivery of three last-generation automatic analyzers of gases and electrolytes in blood. Seventy five such equipments will reach republican, municipal and district hospitals in all and people will benefit from quicker and more accurate analyses, the presidential press service has reported.
Today, when the World Health Day is marked, the head of state reminded about the efforts made to improve the conditions in the medical system and the endowment with advanced equipment and medical devices.
President Maia Sandu stressed that the Health Ministry and development partners invested in infrastructure and modernization of the medical institutions. At the same time, the head of state referred also to the fact that people from all regions of Moldova should have access to quality and advanced medical services. Also on 4 April, the Moldovan president had a discussion with medical employees of the Balti Clinical Hospital about the situation in the health system.
