Chisinau, April 8 /MOLDPRES/- In the context of this week's visit to Rezina, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Lilia Dabija inspected the construction site of corridor 10, a 36.5 km road section under repair. The road is to be put into operation this summer and will ensure safe traffic conditions for 15 thousand people, 15 educational institutions and dozens of enterprises and factories.
The road connects Tantareni, Chiștelnița, Scorţeni, Meşeni, Ignăţei, Peciște, Pripiceni, Trifești settlements, Rezina and Telenesti districts.
In the villages of Peciște and Ingăței, which are crossed by corridor 10, Lilia Dabija had a discussion with mayors of the localities about the projects implemented under European Village Program.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the construction of the sewage system is planned for the village of Ignăței, with a length of almost 3 km, which will ensure the access of 715 households, with over 2000 beneficiaries, to modern sanitation conditions. An artesian well and external water supply systems will be built in Peciște village. This will ensure access to modern drinking water networks for 234 households.
In total, nine projects are implemented in Rezina district within the European Village Program, worth 35 million lei (1.75 million euros). Two of these are already completed. The projects cover important needs of citizens – to modernize water and sewage networks, modern street lighting, renovate kindergartens, etc.
