European Village: Two kindergartens in Glodeni and Soroca modernized

Chisinau, April 11 /MOLDPRES/- Kindergarten No5 in Glodeni and the one in Hristici, Soroca district were modernized through the European Village Program. The renovation works cost 2.7 million lei (135 thousand euros).
Thus, at the kindergarten in Glodeni, the roof was rebuilt and new furniture and other technical means necessary for the smooth running of educational and recreational activities were purchased. For this, 1.8 million lei were spent from the National Regional and Local Development Fund.
And the kindergarten in Hristici, Soroca, has a new roof. Government allocated about 900 thousand lei. The director of the National Regional and Local Development Office (ONDRL), Mihail Croitoru, visited the locality and participated in the reception of the works. "The project reflects the support of the authorities in creating better conditions for the development of localities and especially children. Thus, we hope that more and more young families will come to Moldova's localities", said Mihail Croitoru.
According to ONDRL, 12 kindergartens in the country, which are attended by about 1100 children, already benefit from better conditions, through the European Village Program.
