During the visit by the Moldovan delegation, the sides discussed the taking over and enforcement in Moldova of the DOST concept – a model of integrated centres of social services. In the context, the Moldovan guests visited the Centre for Sustainable and Operative Social Insurance (DOST No.1) in Baku, subordinated to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan. The centre will provide the supply, through a single desk, of 153 state social services from all fields managed by the Azeri ministry, of which 140 have been already digitalized.

Minister Alexei Buzu said the relations between Moldova and Azerbaijan were developing continuously, including in the labour and social protection sector. ‘’The exchange of good practices with the Azeri state is important for Moldova, especially due to the comprehensive social reforms implemented in Azerbaijan, as well as of the experience of providing social services in automated way, through a single platform,’’ the official noted.
