Moldovan diplomacy head to pay working visit to Bucharest

Chisinau, 11 March /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu, along Defence Minister on 12-13 April will participate in a trilateral meeting of the foreign affairs and defence ministers of Romania, Moldova and Ukraine, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
Also, Nicu Popescu will have bilateral meetings with his Romanian counterpart Bogdan Aurescu, as well as with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba. The officials will consider such subjects as the regional security. In the context, Foreign Affairs Minister Nicu Popescu will participate also in a panel discussion within the Black Sea Security Conference. They will also discuss the process of accession of Moldova and Ukraine to EU, as well as the organization by Moldova of the Summit of the European Political Community on 1 June 2023. The Moldovan official will have meetings also with other Romanian officials.
On 13 April, following the trilateral meeting, the foreign affairs and defence ministers will give a joint news conference starting from 15:10, the time of Chisinau.
