Several categories of population likely to be exempted from paying health insurance policy

Chişinău, April 12 /MOLDPRES/- Several categories of population will be exempted from the obligation to pay fixed-sum health insurance policy. A draft law was approved today by members of the parliamentary commission for social protection, health and family.
Thus, people with disabilities or pensioners, who are part of one of the following categories will not pay the insurance policy in a fixed amount: owners of agricultural land, with the exception of gardens and vegetable plots, regardless of whether they have whether or not these lands are leased or used on a contract basis; founders of individual enterprises; entrepreneur patent holders; private people carrying out independent activities in the retail trade, with the exception of trade in goods subject to excise duties; private people who carry out activities in purchasing products from phytotechnics or horticulture.
The draft law is to be submitted to public consultations and presented for debate in the plenary session of the Legislature.
