Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the parliament’s commission for agriculture and food industry today considered a draft law suggesting the revision of the numerical composition of the coordination council of the National Office of Vine and Wine (ONVV).
The draft sees the cutting from 15 to 13 of the number of members of the ONVV coordination council, through excluding from it the representative of the Finance Ministry and the one of the Economic Development and Digitalization Ministry.
At the same time, the draft’s provisions regard also the way the procedure of selection of the candidate for the office of director of the National Office of Vine and Wine is regulated. Thus, the candidate for the office of the ONVV director will be selected by a commission set up by the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry (MAIA). The commission will be made up of seven members: a representative of the competent ministry and by one representative of the organizations included in the ONVV coordination council. The position of director will be able to be held by one and the same person not more than two mandates of four years, no matter the consecutiveness. The ceasing of the mandate of the Office’s director before term will be made under an order of the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry, with the positive notification of the coordination council.
The draft law was worked out by MAIA.
