Romanian president grants High Patronage to Ciprian Porumbescu Anniversary Program in Chisinau

Chisinau, April 13 /MOLDPRES/- President of Romania Klaus Iohannis decided to grant the High Patronage to Ciprian Porumbescu Anniversary Program in Chisinau, organized by the Romanian Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova (DRRM).

"The High Patronage of the President of Romania represents both the recognition of the intrinsic artistic merits of the program, as well as the appreciation of the role that the commemoration of the works of great personalities has in preserving and using the unity of language, the communion of culture and traditions between Romania and the Republic of Moldova", a press release of DRRM reads.

The event will be held in May -October.

It will mark moments, places and events related to the great Romanian composer, by virtue of consolidating the common culture, language and traditions between Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
