EcoContact Association launched tourist guide of Lower Prut Biosphere Reserve

Chisinau, April 13 /MOLDPRES/- EcoContact Association and Cahul Ecological Consultancy Center launched today tourist guide of Lower Prut Biosphere Reserve and the localities of Frumoasa-Crihana hydrographic sub-basin. Its purpose is to increase information and raise awareness about the value of the protected area and its ecosystem services from the perspective of the impact of climate change.
The tourist guide, made under the project Consolidation of adaptation measures to climate change in the Lower Prut Biosphere Reserve is financed by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and presents 55 tourist attractions from 13 localities of the area. "For a unique tourist experience, easier planning of tourist routes, but also a clearer visualization of them, the Tourist Guide, which contains the coordinates of the locations, is accompanied by an illustrated map", indicates EcoContact.
The guide is meant for those who are passionate about nature and the beauties of Moldova and comes to the aid of tourists who want to explore this special region through tradition and picturesque places. The towns included in the guide are: Crihana Veche, Colibași, Câșlița-Prut, Brânza, Văleni, Cahul, Slobozia Mare, Manta, Giurgiulești, Vadul lui Isac, Andrusul de Jos, Andrusul de Sus and Satul Roșu.
