IT engineers to be able to work remotely, including outside Moldova

Chisinau, April 14 /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law to amend Law No77/2016 on information technology parks have been published in the Official Journal.

Thus, employees of IT park residents will have the right to work remotely - either in Moldova or outside the country. The document also provides for the expansion of the list of activities allowed to be carried out in information technology parks. These activities largely involve the use of specialized high-performance computing equipment, which has potential for growth, but has not yet benefited from the provisions of the IT Parks legislation.

At the same time, the funding sources of the IT park administration were expanded, as well as the obligation to carry out the annual verification for residents who apply the respective tax regime for IT parks.
