Farmers who invested in equipment to receive grants

Chisinau, April 14 /MOLDPRES/- MAC-P program announced grants of up to ten thousand dollars for agricultural producers who made investments in agricultural equipment and machinery or in the application of practices that ensure soil conservation and improvement. The applications can be submitted to the territorial offices of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) by 30 June.

Post-investment grants will reimburse 30% of the value of the eligible investment and will be granted through the AIPA.

Moldova Agriculture Competitiveness Project (MAC-P) was launched in 2012 to provide farmers with logistical and financial support with the aim of strengthening the capacities for sustainable management of agricultural land, processing and packaging of agricultural products and facilitating access to the market.
