Moldovan deputy PM pays visit to Taraclia district settlement

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian paid a visit to the Tvardita settlement, southern Taraclia district, on 13 April. The deputy PM took knowledge of the activity of the Tvardita Free Entrepreneurship Zone (ZAL), the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

On the spot, the ZAL managers informed about the economic situation in the region, the problems faced and the support needed on behalf of the government for carrying out a prodigious activity for the good of the entire society.

The ZAL representatives thanked for the opportunity to have this dialogue and openly discuss the challenges faced by the local business community. In particular, problems were signaled in the process of export of certain goods abroad, as well as certain aspects regarding the unfair competition on the domestic market/encouraging the penetration of the goods produced on the national market in the region.
