National Farmers Federation of Moldova supports convening of European Moldova National Assembly on 21 May

Chisinau, April 18 /MOLDPRES/- National Farmers Federation of Moldova /FNFM/ has announced that it supports the convening of the European Moldova National Assembly on 21 May and urges farmers to attend it.
According to a press release of the FNFM, farmers are the beneficiaries of the most valuable advantages, which come with our country's accession to the EU and to various European organizations and associations.
"FNFM, on behalf of its members, expresses confidence in the opportunities for social and economic development of Moldova, which can be ensured through relations with civilized countries, which are part of the free world, where human rights, freedom are respected. The FNFM expresses gratitude for the support given to the agricultural sector by the EU, within the multiple programs and projects of technical and investment assistance", it reads.
On April 10, President Maia Sandu announced that a National Assembly will be held in Chisinau on May 21. The event will be organized on the Great National Assembly Square. The President mentioned that the event will be organized in support of the integration process of our country in the EU.
"I urge you to show up as a people. The clear decision to be part of the European family, based on respect, stability and economic collaboration. I urge you to show that the only master of this land is the people. I urge you to explain to those who still have doubts that the decisions regarding the future of the Republic of Moldova are made in the Republic of Moldova. The time has come for the Moldovans to show that we are a determined people, a people who own their own house, a people who can defend democracy, peace and communities. I think the time has come for those who are watching us from the east and the west to see that in the decisive moments for our destiny we are united and brave", Sandu said.
