Chisinau-based museum organizes Third Easter Day at Museum holiday

Chisinau, 18 April /MOLDPRES/ - The National Ethnography and Natural History Museum, in cooperation with the Metropolitan See of Chisinau and All Moldova, today organize the Third Easter Day holiday, the 20th edition, during the Bright Week.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the museum’s director, Petru Vicol, said that, initiated back in the end of the 20th century, the holiday titled, The Third Easter Day, showed its longevity through the notoriety of samples on religious subjects at the Easter exhibition, as well as through the variety of samples of dyed eggs, made at workshops annually held on the eve of the Holy Easter Holidays.
For his part, the head of the Cultural Activities Synodic Sector of the Metropolitan See of Chisinau and All Moldova, Nicolae Ciobanu, said that, year after year, the holiday was spreading.
At the event, artistic bands and church choirs were awarded diplomas of participation and received as gifts a Bible and a prayer-book each on behalf of the Metropolitan See of Chisinau and All Moldova.
