Moldova not associated with war and atrocities taking place in Ukraine - PM says

Chisinau, April 19 /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova does not associate itself with the war and the atrocities that are being committed in Ukraine, however people who support such things are not welcome in our country. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement at today's cabinet meeting, referring to a case on Monday, April 17, when President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, Rustam Minnikhanov was not allowed to enter Moldova, as the reason for the arrival was not clear.
The premier noted that people who support crimes, the killing of the civilian population in the neighboring state are not welcome in the country.
Dorin Recean said he will take steps to have the activity authorizations of some employees of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau withdrawn.
After the cabinet meeting, the spokesperson announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will make statements to this end.
