Moldovan speaker invited to visit Israel

Chisinau, April 21 /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu had a meeting today with head of the Israel - Moldova Parliamentary Friendship Group from the Knesset of the State of Israel, Avraham Benayahu Bezalel, who is on a visit to Chisinau, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The officials discussed how the parliamentary relations between the Republic of Moldova and Israel can be boosted, and the revival of cooperation on various platforms.

Grosu said that the country would be interested in Israel's experience in the economic, energy and security sectors. In this context, Igor Grosu invited the Israeli business environment to invest in Moldova.

The discussions also referred to the agenda of reforms that would bring the Republic of Moldova closer to the EU and improve people's living standards, cooperation with the Jewish community in Moldova, as well as the security situation in the region.

Grosu was invited to pay a visit to Israel.
