Speaker meets group of Moldovans residing in Czech Republic

Chisinau, April 26 /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu met with a group of citizens residing in the Czech Republic. The discussions focused on the current situation in Moldova and the priorities set for this year, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
"As every time I talk to our citizens from abroad, I was happy to see how interested they are in the situation in the country and how well they know the realities at home", said Grosu.
Citizens also inquired about the air flights connecting Chisinau and other states. "There are certain problems, but I assure you that with the return of the Airport to the management of the state, we aim to create the best conditions for as many airlines as possible to fly to and from Moldova", he said.
Another topic of discussion was the European integration of our country. In this context, the official called on the Moldovan citizens residing abroad to support the authorities in this process. He invited them to participate in the European Moldova Assembly, even if they are abroad, and to inform the Moldovans at home to join the event.
"I am convinced that only together and united, for the future of the children and the future of our country, we will succeed in transforming the Republic of Moldova and bringing Europe home", said Grosu.
On April 24 - 25, Grosu was in the Czech Republic, and participated in the Conference of Speakers of the European Union.
